7/27 show: Look, it's the jumping guy!

Sorry this week's stream is a day late, it passed out from heat stroke over the weekend. Someone needs to teach it a little something about hydration. Hydration was key at the Capitol Hill Block Party, especially on Saturday. Saw some great music from Smoosh, U.S.E., and the Long Winters. Thank goodness for SPF 45 sunscreen. If you haven't filled up a kiddie pool with beer recently, well you really should. I now have three of them, thanks to the kiddie pool klepto.

Dude, what's that smell coming from the coffee maker? Find out for yourself next time when KEXP lets you own a piece of the station. During the spring pledge drive KEXP let people sponsor a piece of the station, and we responded in force. Check out the proud sponsors of items like the men's urinal, Cheryl Water's office, the pile of asphalt, or your's truly and the lovely coffee maker. But don't wait until next spring to support the station where music matters, make a pledge today! You can listen to KEXP up here at 90.3, in the South Sound at 91.7, and streaming live around the globe at kexp.org.

Do I really have to remind you to register to vote again?

Happy Air Conditioned Day,
Larry

7/19 Show: There was an old man in a marsh...

Who would've thought that with a weekend that had the KEXP BBQ, Camera
Obscura, Gomez, Ken Stringfellow, and Rock Lottery I would instead spend
my time at a church listening to modern choral music. Well, that's what
I did and I'm sure glad I did because it was amazing. The setting and
the music complimented each other so well, it was just beautiful. I also
got to remember how uncomfortable pews are.

today! I'm not joking around. Seriously. Don't make me come over there.

Happy Day After National Ice Cream Day,
